What a residency can look like

Here are three examples from my recent work. They are examples only. Your residency will be built uniquely for your school.

Example 1: Elementary school, Charleston County

Storytelling through character movement

4th grade students work with me and their school Theatre teacher to explore character movement in preparation for their school production.

Example 2: Middle school, Greenville County

Social Studies through Musical Theatre

7th grade students connect Musical Theatre, Dance and Social Studies to better understand world cultures and historical content.

Example 3: Third grade, Berkeley County

A student-written production about the Science standards

Third graders brainstorm, write and create their own miniature production, using real-life problems within a character's natural habitat to tell a story about thriving or struggling to survive.

My philosophy

Art is for everyone.

Student-led creations are the emphasis in all of my workshop experiences. My classes encourage self-awareness, confidence, authenticity and ownership in all that we do.
